In the middle of a Petunia.
Yesterday afternoon we took at trip to the northern part of Uppland to see if we could find some wild orchids, After about an hours ride on roads that grew narrower and narrower we arrived out in the woods. A few minutes walk from the small gravel road and there they were. I have never seen such an abundance in one small area. Lady´s slippers everywhere as far as you could see.
Such beautiful flowers. Well worth the trip.
For Sunday Still this week the theme is fantastic floral. The two photos above are taken yesterday and the photos below are from the archive.
Do join in and let us fill the cyber world with colourful, fantastic florals!
Stay safe everyone!
I found the first blue Wood Anemones today, at least two weeks earlier than usual.

February is usually way to early to find flowers, but this is not your ”usual” month of February! Sunday I went to the Botanical garden for a walk and found both Winter Aconites and Snowdrops. Sun shining, but a bit chilly with just a few degrees above 0C.
Tonight – minus degrees and snow! More like a ”usual” February.
I must confess that at the moment I rather trade the snow for Spring!
