According to an old Swedish myth these lilies grows on a meadow (just outside Uppsala) where in the 980´s the Swedish King Erik Segersäll won a big battle against the Danish king. For every Danish soldier that died a red lily grew and for every Swedish soldier a white lily. The battle ended with a great victory for the Swedish king. Every year in May thousands of lilies blossom, most of them red.

I played with some thin plastic film, covering the front of the lens with only a small opening in the plastic film for focus. It created a softer surrounding.
